Love poetry is one of those things really has the power to move a person. To tears, to laughter, to pain, and even to arousal. BTS (Beyond Time and Space) for me was all of those things, memories of loves past, hopes for the future, and sharing with the one I love every day. Leon has an incredible way of portraying emotions, mixed with physicality, surrounded and permeated by spirituality, even in this modern always on, always connected world. In some circles sexuality even in the slightest reference is taboo, and in others it is more accepted, but usually it is not until a couple reaches the deepest realms of intimacy, that they find out how powerful their love truly is and how far it can take them.Reading BTS is a journey through physical realms to greater heights of sensuality, consciousness, and the ever expanding and connecting plains of spirituality. Reading this collection of poems has the potential to ignite your soul like ether igniting giving off a brilliance of pleasantry on so many levels. I deeply enjoyed this collection, and I imagine you will as well. Read it alone, read it together with a partner, share it, breath it, live it. This is a beautiful book of poems that at times brought me to tears. The sexuality is intense but the sweetness brings it to life. Definitely worth reading either alone or with a partner.
The imagery is so very evocative and subtly sensual. Beautifully crafted words, creating gentle awareness and arousal. Evocative thoughts that stir the soul.
We read the book cover to cover and loved it. Beyond Time and Space is a worthy solo read, and also makes for a fantastic partner exploration.
The imagery in the book is sensual, poetic and sophisticated. The Jewish themes are brilliantly woven into the writing, though this is a book that will appeal to a wide spectrum of readers, regardless of faith. We enjoyed Leon's writing tremendously. Highly recommended!
This book of poems transports the reader to another world with its beautiful, sensual language, painting scenes of love and lust that move in currents under, around and through romantic love affair(s). Even the most seemingly mundane objects (trees, soup, etc.) are illuminated. In "Beyond Time and Space," the senses come alive, and you begin to see the world differently, and with clarity.
It is unmistakable that Leon's body, mind heart and soul went into these poems.
